Huntington Beach State Park is ..."The best birding site in the
state", according to Robin Carter, author of "Finding Birds in South
Carolina". Come join us for a rare opportunity to participate in
guided bird-watching trips with experts throughout the diverse
habitats of Huntington Beach State Park. Habitats and topics covered
will include: Jetty Adventure, Shorebird Special, Coastal Sampler,
Winter Waterfowl, Birding for Beginners, and others. These unique
excursions will be designed for both the beginner and experienced
birders. Call the Education Center for a complete agenda. Ask about
the special "Birders Quest" for those interested in trying to ID 100
different species throughout the weekend! Duration Sat.: 7 am - 5 pm
(10 hrs.) Duration Sunday.: 7 am - 12 noon (5 hrs.)
